A semester long project using design skills and typographic experiementation to bring awareness to the littering and unkemptness that is west campus. West campus is a neighboorhood of off campus housing west to the University of Texas at Austin

The newspaper is the culmination of all my type experiments and campaign
efforts put into a medium which is commonly left to become litter itself.

I took note and collected litter around west campus to create new forms and letters. while additionally creating awareness by posting pictures of litter on social media
After collecting found litter and content, I strived to create more awareness this time through art. I used chalk spray paint to spray words by litter to make sure my campaign continued outside of social media.

These experiments and stencils created some really interesting forms and texture. I decided to go further and cast trash into resin, immortalizing the litter into a pieces of art. Forever being a reminder of the reality of litter and waste we often live in.
